Trees get removed for all sorts of honest reasons — roots lifting paths, shade swallowing the vege garden, a dead specimen dropping limbs, or room needed for a shed or sleepout. Whatever the reason, the process is the same: a free quote, a clear plan, safe removal, and a proper tidy-up.
Where there is room, a tree can be felled in one piece with wedges and ropes controlling the direction. Where there is not — near houses, fences, sheds and power lines — it gets dismantled in sections from the top down, with each piece roped and lowered. That controlled approach is slower, but it is how you remove a big tree without wrecking what is underneath it.
After the trunk is down, the job is only half done until the clean-up is finished. Branches go through the chipper or onto the trailer, the work area gets raked over, and the stump can be ground out so you are left with usable ground instead of a trip hazard. Many Rangiora sections finish the job with the mower — which Nate also offers — so the whole place looks reset, not just stump-free.
Tree removal quotes are free and obligation-free across Rangiora and North Canterbury. Call 027 848 0119 or PM the Facebook page and describe the tree — photos help.
